FINE ASH
ARRec supplies German and foreign recycling and disposal plants with a wide range of fly ash and fine ash fractions, as well as dust fractions from thermal processing plants.
Depending on their quality, fly ash from biomass combustion plants can be used in agriculture or as a raw material for fertiliser production, but they can also be used as an aggregate in cement production.
Ash from sewage sludge incineration is either used directly in agriculture or as a source of phosphorus in the fertiliser industry.
Fly ash and fabric filter ash from waste and co-incineration plants that is not suitable for recycling or contains hazardous substances is properly disposed of in cooperation with our business partners. If necessary, the ash is pre-treated or stabilised and then disposed of in official landfills.
More heavily contaminated industrial dust is disposed of in underground storage sites or in backfilling plants abroad.
COARSE ASH AND SLAG
ARRec supplies recycling and disposal plants in Germany and abroad with a wide range of coarse and bed ash fractions from fluidised bed furnace plants, as well as slag from waste incineration plants and other thermal processes, such as steel and stainless steel plants.
Our partner companies generally remove recyclable materials from the bed ash and then, depending on the remaining quality of the inert residue, either use it in concrete production or send it straight to landfill.
Depending on their quality and constituents, the various slags are mechanically processed and the metal fractions recovered are recycled. Depending on its quality, the inert residue is used in concrete production or sent straight to landfill.
